		<description>Hi I just wanted to point out an inaccuracy. WIC checks (and despite the perception) are in fact checks. If a farmer deposits an FVC promptly, depending upon his or her banks funds availability policy, payment is made by the WIC Program bank within 48 hours. It is true that WIC checks have an expiration date (30 days from the last date to spend). Maryland WIC is advising farmers accordingly.</description>
