Thanks for telling us Shannon. We realized that the language was a bit more restrictive than what we intended. To fix that, we changed the wording to:

"I grant Bread for the City and the DC Food For All the right to use and publish my story."

We hope you will feel free to submit your family story knowing that you can repost your story on your blog, use wording from your story on your blog or let us know if you ever want to your story taken down from either the Bread for the City or DC Food For All blogs at any time. Again, you will be notified before your story is posted. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Zachari

I'd like to submit a family story, but not have it become property of Food for All. I'd be more than willing to have it used by the blog and Bread for the City, but would want to keep my rights to it in case I wanted to repost it on my own blog or use it in other writing. I think having less restrictive guidance would encourage more people to submit. For example, one of the Creative Commons licenses may be appropriate (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/). I use this myself on my blog.

Hi, I heard about your tour in July from a friend of mine who found it very interesting. I write a small column on gardening type events in DC for the Green Springs Master Gardeners and I was wondering if you had another event coming up in the Fall which I could include in our newsletter. I think my group would like to do an Urban Garden Tour. Please let me know. If you have questions, please call me at 703 507-4252. Dori
